The prison of spiritual death leads to a new awakening

Life can lead us through many twists and turns.  When we come to a place where we reach rock bottom, we are given the opportunity to call on God to intervene.  In the midst of the heartache and pain, we can find our refuge in God.  We can take part of a flourishing relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.  He will chase us until we say yes.  He will call out our name and desire to be in relationship with every single one of us; we have the choice.  We can get bitter or we can grow.  We can say yes to Christ, and turn from the darkness; a divine opportunity to be part of the Light.  He calls us out to be ONE with Him.

He delights in a relationship with us.  As we look to Him, prayers will be answered and unseen goodness will come to life.  In the turmoil, Christ brings life.  Up from the darkness, we can rise.  It takes a sole focus on the One true God, and an attitude of faith that says, “I trust God; I will not quit.”  At this intersection we can find peace even in the midst of a storm.  Even in the midst of chaos, we can rest, because Jesus has overcome the world.  He has given us a peace that surpasses all understanding and a supernatural rest that can only come from above.

As we decide to look at Christ instead of our circumstances, the Holy Spirit steps in.  His goodness and favor will bring us to a secret hiding place for our soul, where there is no need to worry and no need to fear.  As we trust in the eternal Three in One, we will come out stronger, wiser, and redeemed.  We will make it through knowing that God is the only Lifter of our head.  His goodness far outweighs the enemy’s darkness.  We can go to God and He receives us with arms open wide.  He will never turn us down.  He is not a God of rejection or hate, but a God of love and kindness.  He is the God of peace.  Fall into the arms of the Savior because He will never let you go!
