As God’s glory is revealed, we’ll find more of Him. It may not be how we expect, but we’ll always find Him waiting to show us His will if we wait for it. We can pray and ask for revelation but if the timing is not right, we must keep waiting for the answer He has prepared. Sometimes God’s answer is yes, sometimes it is no, and sometimes it will be not yet. Ultimately, He knows the final answer and we must rest in that. As we do, peace comes, and in that place, the easier it is to hear from our Lord. His peace surpasses all our understanding, so if we learn to trust Him, we’ll find a supernatural rest left undiscovered. His joy will overtake us and light will break forth. The Light will always overcome any darkness. As darkness is cast out, we’ll find newness and it is in this place we become new.
At times we limit our Creator because we can’t fathom His ways or the vast supernatural process He uses to perform His miracles. But it’s in our own limitations we’re masking the fullness of God’s provision to perform the impossible. The impossible becomes possible because of our belief in Who God is and His ways that scream inside us, “How?!” Here we see a God Who will move mountains for us and cause good things to come if we only believe. Believing is half the battle. When we believe, we release our faith in Him. It takes the limits off the supernatural. God promises great things in the last days (see below: Acts 2:17-21) and He always keeps His Word. If we open up our minds to the possibility God wants to do something never done before in our very own lives, we might just find ourselves right in the middle of a divine miracle.
He sets us up to receive blessings and we have to keep the faith vessel flowing. When we’ve run to the bottom of our “faith well,” when the cup is dry, borrow the faith of Jesus. His faith calls out miracles, His faith calls out our name. When we listen, He’ll answer. He provides our answers when we least expect it and many times it’s not how we expect. That’s the fun of this journey; God is an ever-surprising, never the same Father of pleasure. His will is to bless His children and if we’re open, we’ll receive it. His character remains the same, but His blessings vary. With God, we get the joy of waiting for a new opportunity, a new gift, and a new journey every time.
What did you used to believe God for that you gave up on? What promises did God once give you that you began to believe weren’t possible because it didn’t happen in your time frame? I dare you to believe again not in just the promises, but in God. Give Him another chance- one way or another He’ll never let you down.
17 “‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. 18 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. 19 I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. 20 The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. 21 And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ (Acts:2)
